Ankura TAA Stent Graft System in Surgery

The Ankura TAA Stent Graft System is designed for the endovascular repair of thoracic aortic aneurysms and dissections, offering advanced features for enhanced precision, safety, and anatomical adaptability. Its top bare stent enables placement across the left subclavian (LSA) or left common carotid artery (LCCA) without compromising blood flow, allowing for an extended and secure proximal landing zone. The tip capture mechanism ensures accurate positioning and controlled deployment, while the proximal mini wave design improves graft-to-wall contact, reducing the risk of migration and endoleaks.

Engineered with a self-expanding nitinol stent, Ankura delivers consistent radial force for long-term stability. Its asymmetric wave pattern conforms to the natural curve of the thoracic aorta, minimising the risk of kinking, and a longitudinal support strut on the greater curvature prevents shortening, maintaining axial integrity. The sutureless main body eliminates pinhole-related endoleaks (Type IV), while PTFE threads enhance friction against the vessel wall, securing the graft in place. Available in straight and tapered configurations (4/6/8 mm) to accommodate anatomical variations, the system is delivered through a kink-resistant, hydrophilic-coated delivery system for smooth and reliable vascular access.
